CURRENT WEATHER DISCUSSION with Jerry Shields
Last updated at Thursday 3:59pm.
An area of rain and embedded thunderstorms is now moving towards the region. This activity should arrive at
the city first, near 5pm and then regions to the east in the following hours. Expect on and off convective
rain cells to cross the region into tonight.
Tomorrow will bring a day of scattered showers and transition as cold air begins to move in. Temps will begin
to drop tomorrow afternoon and continue down until we have +10c for Saturday. There is a chance of lake
effect showers for most of the cool long weekend. Some forecast models are hinting at frost Monday morning.
