In the Fall of 2011, ShieldsWeather began expansion.  The little site that started out in Sault Ste. Marie, in 2002, eventually expanded to Wawa and Elliot Lake.  Now expansion has happened around these 3 locations and then beyond.  The Sault region sites came online by the start of Octoboer 2011.  Then the Elliot Lake/Manitoulin and Wawa regions were shortly thereafter.  Now expansion has happened into Sudbury, Espanola and North Bay!

By 2012 ShieldsWeather hopes to reach all of Northeastern Ontario in the coming months;  adding another half dozen sites.  We will be the most complete, accurate weather forecast source for all of Northeastern Ontario in the coming months.

Each location will be reviewed and updated at least 4 times daily along with a synopsis (discussion) for each region.  This personal touch is what make Shieldsweather unique and personal to each viewer.
